FitPort App Reviews

good app, but HR Aver readings are wrong

Its very well made app. But I cant use it because average HR readings taken from apple watch are calculated wrong. When apple watch is in workout mode it takes much more HR readings than when no workout is activated. This app calculates average based on totals amount of readings divided by number of readings. So if your regular HR rate is around 60, then you go and do workout for 1 hour at 100+ bpm, your average would look like 95 (like you about to have a heartattack). Time should be weighted in the formula, so Average for day should be actual average as if apple watch takes same amount of readings per hour in workout and regular mode. I tried to contact developer, but could not find an option on web-site. Please correct this error and I would gladly rate 5-star.

Perfect Front End to Apple Health Data

This should be Apple Health. So happy this exists.

Quite Nearly Perfect!

This app is so close to perfection, Im going to give them the credit for perfect! Fast, accurate and beautiful to look at and use - every mobile developer could take a few lessons from this app. I also appreciate Fitports small storage footprint and its frugal use of power and CPU cycles.

Great app, excellent presentation!

Clear, easy to read presentation of Health data. Highly recommend.

Fitport

Love this app! Works really well with Apple ❤️ Health app

Favorite app

I prefer looking at this app to display health information as opposed to the apple health app. Its fast very well done!!

Excellent!!

A great visual way to look at your activity. New features and good updates makes this app a must have.

Great!

I love it! I look at it everyday!!!

Great app, but...

Id like to see a Today widget. Its convenient to be able to check my step count by looking at a widget, rather than having to open the app.

Needs more interfaces

It is too bad it will not also interface with Fitbit wristband

Superior to the stock Health.app in every way

If youd like to see your health data in a clean, convenient manner through a well supported app youre in the right place.

Great but could be even better with more granularity

Apple Watch records heart rate every 10 minutes now—and every 5 seconds during a workout. FitPort only provides granularity down to the hour. Would love to be able to pinch to zoom into measurements down to that level. Also, no blood pressure? Lets get that in there!

No way to check previous days

Its a little dumb for me because I often go to sleep after midnight, so when I check this app to see how the day went, all the values are near 0% completion because Im only two hours into the new day. Beyond that, its great.

Bravo!

This app is extremely well executed. The built in web app could take some queues from this app.

Apple needs to buy them

This is what the iOS Health app should be. Makes it easy for me to see and understand my health data from all my devices (Apple Watch, iPhone, Withings Body Analyzer). You can view your data by hour, day, or week.

Fan Freaking’tastic!

My only suggestion is...  Watch compatibility!? Aside from that the app is gorgeous inside and out!

AWESOME

You can view previous days, but you have to slide finger on graph on bottom. You can also view all data, (just like Apple Health App) I can see my HR data per second. (Scosche Rhythm+) Only suggestion, maybe provide optional light theme, white background.

Beware of Midnight Issue

Overall I really like this App, but your iPhone MUST be charging before midnight or the info that is displayed will not match Apples health app. Also, if you miss the midnight deadline, when you look at the week, the number of steps shown for "today" on top, but when you roll over the days of the week and stop on the current date, it will display todays date rather than "today", those numbers dont even match each other, even though its the SAME day... and neither match the health app. BTW IDK why Apple doesnt allow you to view the number of steps for a day in the past, you only get a number for today... why??? Makes no sense that one would even need a 3rd party app to do this.

Love It!

I really love this app. It clearly shows the data, and is very easy to read as opposed to the Apple Health app. It also tells you how many more miles, steps, calories, etc. left until you reach your goal.

Must Buy/Use

Apples Health App is Awful for helping you achieve your goals. This App is perfect (almost) because it ports in the data, has a beautiful layout to help you track your progress, and provides the ability to set goals, predict your future progress and play what-if scenarios. This app combined with Apple Watch and activity App are an awesome combo... Sorry Fitbit, you were great. Its not you, its me.
